A voice journal for people who think out loud
Talk for thirty seconds, in the car or on a walk. Calmplot writes it down and connects it with what you said before.
Long day. I said yes to three things I didn’t have time for.
Saying yes when you’re already full has come up a few times lately. Last time it was the week before a deadline.
“I keep agreeing before I’ve checked if I can.”
Sound familiar?
- Your notes app is a graveyard of half-thoughts.
- You work things out by talking, not by writing.
- By the time you sit down to type, the thought has gone.
How it helps
1Tap and talk
One tap starts recording. Ramble; that’s the point.
- Entry
Long day. I said yes to three things I didn’t have time for, and now Thursday is gone. I think I say yes before I’ve even checked.
2It writes it down
Your words become an entry you can read, search and come back to, not an audio file you’ll never play.
- Reflection
Walked home the long way. Felt better by the bridge.
CalmplotWalking comes up on your lighter days. You said something similar in May.
In May you wrote“Moving helps more than thinking about it.”
3It answers
A short reflection, with your own earlier words when something echoes.
A short guide to voice journaling
- 1
Talk about one moment, not the whole day.
- 2
Start with where you are: “I’m in the car and…”
- 3
Thirty seconds is enough. Stop when you’ve said the thing.
- 4
Say the feeling out loud, even if it’s just “tired”.
- 5
Read it back the next morning, not straight away.
Private, in plain words
- Encrypted at rest
Your entries are stored encrypted with AES-256.
- Not used to train AI
Reflections are opt-in, and the AI providers are asked not to keep your entries or train on them.
- Yours to take or delete
Export to JSON, Markdown or plain text anytime, even on the free plan. Delete your account and your entries go with it.
Questions
Is my audio saved?
Your recording is sent to our transcription provider to be turned into text, and that text becomes your entry. Calmplot does not store the audio on its servers.
How much can I record for free?
The free plan includes 5 minutes of voice a week. Premium removes the weekly limit.
Can I type as well?
Yes. Talk when it’s easier, type when you’d rather. Both end up in the same journal.
